What made "Youtube Rewind 2018:Everyone Controls Rewind" as most disliked video of YouTube history

On December 6,2018 YouTube uploaded its rewind video with title "Everyone Controls Rewind".This video was uploaded on the YouTube spotlight channel.This year rewind video was very shocking for the fans as this video excluded many of the main YouTubers and included celebrities and personalities who are not affiliated with YouTube.This is the main reason for the dislikes and criticism making this video as the most disliked video of all time.Despite this there are other many reasons which we are gonna discuss here one by one:

1)Exclusion of important events of YouTube history:

The biggest reason for getting dislikes is that this video was not satisfying for the fans.Many of the biggest events which happened in 2018 was not included in the video and even there was no appearance of top YouTubers like Pewdiepie,Shane dawson,Logan paul and many more.Fans wanted to see the recap of the controversial Shane dawson viral documentary on Jake paul and also the recap of the most successful live sports event of YouTube history Ksi vs Logan Paul.YouTube also neglected the ongoing War between Pewdiepie and T-series where Pewdiepie is making a bunch of records but YouTube don't care.

2)Inclusion of old and unpopular trends:

The video prominently featured references to Fortnite Battle Royal.Fortnite which was released in 2017 and was successful in drawing more than 125 million players in less than a year.This game should be the part of 2017 YouTube rewind rather than this year YouTube rewind.If YouTube have added updated and popular variety the result would have been different.

3)Celebrities were part of the video:

Many of the celebrities were seen in the video such as Will Smith, Ninja, Trevor NoahWill and John Oliver which were not affiliated with YouTube.This was the main reason the video got extensive backlash from critics.

4)No tribute to Stephen Hawking,Avicii,Mac Miller,Stan Lee and many more:

Many of the critics were angered on YouTube for not giving any tribute to Stephen Hawking, Avicii, TotalBiscuit, Stefán Karl Stefánsson, Mac Miller, Stan Lee and Stephen Hillenburg.This was also the main reason for dislikes as it greatly affected YouTube fans.

5)Absence of PewDiePie in the whole video:

Another main reason was that PewDiePie which is the most subscribed YouTube channel having about 76million subscribers was not part of the video.Since PewDiePie have such a big number of subscribers mostly most of his fans disliked the rewind video making it as the most disliked video of YouTube.
