26/8/2017 : North Korea Fires Three Missiles in to Sea.



The US Military reported firing of three short-ranged ballistic missiles by North Korea.

They were launched by a site in the North Korean province of Gangwon and flew for about 250km (150 miles), officials in South Korea said.

Since firing an intercontinental missile last month, Pyongyang has threatened to aim missiles at US Pacific Territory of Guam. But this test did not threatened US or Guam, says US military.

North Korea tests often come in response to South Korea Military exercises involving US. Thousands of US and South Korean Troops take part in joint military drills.

The projectiles were launched at 21:49 GMT Friday. One missile got blown up almost immediately, Two of them flew for 250 km in north easterly directions. The missiles flew for 30 minutes.




The two Koreas are technically still at war as the 1950-1953 Korean War ended in an armistice.
